Overview Features

The Rebated 930mm Drop Down Smoke Seal is designed to stop smoke from passing under a fire door. When the door is closed the built-in PVC rubber pad drops down to the floor (maximum drop 14mm) and seals the gap, preventing smoke and even sound from passing through.

Lightweight aluminium and PVC design
Durable stainless steel springs and reinforced components
Graduated scissor action seal drops on hinge side before lock side
Easily trimmed to fit any door (maximum trimming length 150mm)
Also has an acoustic rating of 51dB
Maximum drop: 14mm
Supplied with pre-fitted screws
Allen key is shown for informational purposes and is not supplied with the seal
When a fire door has a gap of 5mm or greater at the bottom a threshold seal is required to maintain the doors integrity

Please note: This seal operates via a graduated scissor action, meaning that the seal drops on the hinge side before the lock side. Once installed correctly the entire length of the seal will drop when the door is fully closed.
