Overview Features

The Stratos APIC (Addressable Protocol Interface Card) provides a cost effective interfacing solution for Apollo loop protocol based fire detection systems.

The APIC utilises the Series 90 loop protocol to ensure optimum compatibility with all Apollo based systems. Apollo XP95 and Discovery compliant systems are backwards compatible to series 90'.

Stratos detectors fitted with the APIC are indicated at the control panel as 'Optical Smoke' and returns the following loop condition values.

Kidde Airsense 30430
May be fitted internally to each Stratos detector on a system
Apollo Protocol
May be used in Multi Address mode in the Command Module for signaling up to 127 detectors resulting in reduced cost in large system
Direct addressing of multiple alarm thresholds provides opportunity for earlier intervention
Stratos HSSD, Micra and Ex detectors
