Evacusafe are the only manufacturer to have their training courses externally approved by both RoSPA and IIRSM not internally accredited. In addition to training courses for Evacusafes tracked evacuation chairs, transit chairs or Evacuslider rescue mattress, they are also able to train you on most other brands. With Evacusafe you can train on-site, where a qualified trainer visits you, or you can train online at a computer at your place of work.

The onsite courses can be tailored for most types of Evacuation Chair, Transport Chair and Rescue-sled (not only the Evacusafe brand).

Evacusafe will provide you and your staff with the practical, hands-on experience, and the knowledge required to give you the peace of mind of knowing how to safely operate the equipment and how to carry out a safe evacuation of mobility impaired people.

In addition to Basic Operator training courses, they also provide Key Trainer Courses; these are also commonly know as Train the Trainer courses and enable you to provide your own future staff training courses.

COURSE DETAILS

This course will take you through the setting up and safe operation of the Excel Tracked Evacuation Chair. You will also learn about the current legislation and issues that affect a mobility impaired person. Upon completion you will be issued with a Basic Operators Certificate. Price includes training for up to 8 people.

This course involves a short theory session followed by a practical demonstration in which delegates participate and gain practical hands-on experience of using an Evacuation Chair, Transit Chair or Rescue-sled. Delegate numbers are restricted to make sure everyone has adequate time practising and building confidence in using the equipment.

• Number of delegates = 8

• Duration = 2 x 1 hour sessions (4 delegates per session)

• Qualification = Certificate of attendance

Additional delegates can be added at 50 (Exc. VAT) per person but may impact the course timings and/or number of sessions.
